North Shore Thrift Stores

Whenever Shannon travels, she always Googles "thrift shops and the city" she is visiting. She thought it would be so great if there was a website where people could visually see all the thrift shops and consignment shops in the city she was visiting. Her idea is what led to the creation of www.northshorethriftstores.com in 2011. Shannon followed through with her idea because she felt her community needed a one stop place to learn about where all the budget thrift and consignment shops were located in the North Shore area of Mass! The website also serves to increase awareness about shopping local, donating and to providing free marketing for non-profit thrift stores and local shops. When Shannon is not working on the website, she works full-time in Admissions & Outreach at a local college, hanging with friends, staying active and exploring the world!

Paul is an aspiring graphic arts student who is aiming for his associate’s degree in the graphic design program over at North Shore Community College. Paul has always been interested in media of all sorts such as video games, album art, and abstract art leading him to pursue an education in graphic arts. His time at North Shore Community College in Lynn, MA has been a great learning experience and he wishes to further his education at a four year school sometime in the future. As of now, Paul is working as a marketer/designer for North Shore Thrift Stores as an intern and will obtain his associates degree by the end of summer.
